Grade 8 Goals

          This year, my goal for this year is to be exempted from at least science and math. I have always liked science and math and have always done very well in these subjects. Even last year, my science and math averages were in the 80’s and I think I can do it again this year. Last year I got high marks even though I was barely trying, I barely studied and I still got good marks, but this year will be harder. This year I will study every night unlike last year when I would study for about ten minutes before a test. This year though I’m going to have to try harder to achieve this goal.

          

           I will also need to stay organized and keep my grades up. Last year organization was a problem of mine; I had everything in one binder, my backpack had just about everything I needed. But it was hard to navigate, I lost things easily and it was heavy. This year I have everything separated and organized. Another problem I have is that, near the end of the year, I just kind of gave up. I knew that with the grades I had that it would be literally impossible for me to fail; so I stopped trying. This year, if I want to be exempted, I have to keep my grades up the whole way through. This year I can’t be as lazy as I was last year.
